My husband and I just got back from a 3+ week trip to Italy, starting in Tuscany and ending in Puglia. During that time we saw amazing sites and had many, many unforgettable experiences but few, if any, will be as memorable as the time we spent with Marco and Umberto at a dairy farm outside Martina Franca where we learned about and participated in the mozzarella and burrata cheese-making process. Marco, the owner of Terra Che Vive but also our guide during this experience, could not have been more knowledgeable or enthusiastic, and Umberto, the master cheese-maker, could not have been more welcoming. The whole adventure, including the cheese "tasting" (WAY more than a tasting) of the cheeses we helped make, along with meats and wine, was unequivocally great. When in Puglia, do this!

Esperienza unica! Abbiamo fatto il tour caseario presso l'antica masseria Madonna dell'Arco. Marco è stato un'ottima guida, cortese e preparato, qualità rare ai giorni nostri. Eccellente anche la degustazione dei prodotti tipici sui quali ovviamente non avevo dubbi. Sicuramente mi rivolgerò a loro per altri tour Esperienza che vivamente consiglio di fare.

We went into Clelia’s home and learned all about simple but beautiful Puglian food, as well as two wonderful Puglian women and their amazing dog, Jame. We can’t wait to cook the food at home in England, and we cannot thank them enough for their kindness and this memorable experience.
Sara LedgerAbsolutely brilliant food experience! From start to finish, the orecchiette pasta making course was our favourite holiday activity. Anna and Francesca were wonderful hosts and teachers, alongside Marco who was a brilliant translator and helped make the experience so easy! It was extremely in depth, we learned at least 8 different types of orecchiette. As it was just us, it felt like we could ask every question that popped into our heads! To top it off, Marco and Anna arranged for us to have our lunch in our own Trulli onsite! We were given a fabulous meal of breads, charcuterie and of course, the pasta we’d just prepared- topped off with vino, gorgeous traditional Puglian desserts and Anna’s homemade liqueurs. This was without doubt the best course we’ve ever done in Italy. We will be booking again with Marco and Terra Che Vive on our next trip. Worth every penny.

Galit LipinMy husband and I really enjoyed the 90 minute olive oil tasting! Our guide was very passionate and provided a lot of information. She also spoke English to accommodate us. The owners were so hospitable and friendly also. Their olive oil is delicious and organic. We bought three bottles!

The hosts of each tour were very welcoming, knowledgable and went above and beyond to accommodate us, including bringing our young infant daughter along to the tours. We liked the option for a private tour, we felt really immersed in the experiences, and learned a lot. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Puglia. Marco was also very professional and very fast to respond to emails and communicating with him and the guides was very straightforward and easy. Thanks Marco!
