The atmosphere was quaint starting with a glass of wine in the olive grove, to the baking of the bread in a historic oven in a Truli to making of the pasta and then cooking everything. The owner provided us with meaningful historical information about the property, the centuries old cave where olive oil was produced in the past, and showed us a 900 year old olive tree. It was very clear the love this family has for their craft. The oil itself was remarkable and we really enjoyed tasting the different types they produce. Would absolutely recommend!

After driving through the olive groves for three days, we arrived at the Masseria Savoia in search of answers. “Rosaria” patiently answered all of our questions about cultivating olives trees, managing olive groves, and making and refining extra virgin olive oil. It was a wonderful experience. We just received, at our home in Pennsylvania, the six bottles of extra virgin olive oil that we purchased! One day, we’d like to come back and see the new museum that Savoia is building. Such a rich history of olive oil dating back centuries. Hilary StephensMarcos tour was an absolute wonder filled with knowledge not only about the Burrata making process but historical about the region, The Masseria was beyond beautiful and even had a set of Truli's, the quality of the product we saw make and tasted was superb and as fresh as it can get.
