Naomi EdelsonMy husband and I just got back from a 3+ week trip to Italy, starting in Tuscany and ending in Puglia. During that time we saw amazing sites and had many, many unforgettable experiences but few, if any, will be as memorable as the time we spent with Marco and Umberto at a dairy farm outside Martina Franca where we learned about and participated in the mozzarella and burrata cheese-making process. Marco, the owner of Terra Che Vive but also our guide during this experience, could not have been more knowledgeable or enthusiastic, and Umberto, the master cheese-maker, could not have been more welcoming. The whole adventure, including the cheese "tasting" (WAY more than a tasting) of the cheeses we helped make, along with meats and wine, was unequivocally great. When in Puglia, do this!

Shai HaddadWe had a wonderful visit to Savoia. Our tour guide Anarita was energetic, knowledgeable, and very warm. Be prepared to be shocked and amazed at the glimpse of antiquity you will experience on this tour. When you realize that many of the olive trees are from the Roman Empire and earlier, the enormity of your experience begins to come into focus. Rosario the owner couldn’t have been more welcoming or embracing. The oil is magnificent and her love of the area and its history are so warmly exuded that you feel it as well as taste it. Take the tour and ship home as much as finances allow, you won’t be disappointed!

Allie LangAnbefales på det varmeste! Unik opplevelse på en liten gård i nærheten av Locorotondo. Vi lærte å lage pasta (orrechiette, strascinate og cavatelli) av nonna Fransesca. Marco forklarte underveis og supplerte med mye kunnskap om pastalaging, om Puglia generelt, etc. Avsluttet med et deilig måltid med både egenlaget pasta og lokale spesialiteter. Både vi foreldre og de tre tenåringene storkoste seg.

They captivated all of our 5 kids attentions at all times. (Our youngest was 5 and oldest was 12). Pasta making was a real treat. We will definitely be back!!
